I purposely stayed away from that site because I heard it's terrible. If nothing popped up am I good? I ran a Norton scan and it doesn't detect any viruses.

Sometimes people put bugs on sites like that or rogue viruses. Don't go to sites like HotAssMessHallOfFame or whatever that was, my Opera browser almost got a rogue virus installed on it.

Three of four days after I got this computer I think I was on google going into some site and this shit popped out of nowhere and it went to my files and was attacking it but the Norton thing wiped it out. I got so scared.

Was it the AntiVirus thing? That thing could be stopped by task manager. They'd claim it's installed but it's not, but it's annoying. I had it happened thrice. It don't attack it but it's a nuisance trying to get you to buy it.

I think so. I'm so computer illiterate. I bought a Norton Anti-Virus Security thing and installed it. Doesn't it supposed to give you extra protection?

I don't even know whata task manager is.

Either hit these keys at the same time: CTRL + ALT + DELETE (I believe) and it'll open up or just right click and see where the words Task Manager is and click on it. You can always go to YouTube to check how you find if some rogue shit is operated on your system.
