Son forces mother, 84, to live in shed without food or water.

A man charged with one count of abuse of the elderly or disabled with bodily injury bonded out from jail Monday evening, police say.

Pastro Jang-Sung Park, 53, was arrested Sunday when Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies were responding to a landlord-tenant dispute in Dania Beach. Park had allegedly kept his mother, 84-year-old Sei Hee Park, in a toolshed behind a multi-unit building at the 4600 block of Southwest 43rd Terrace.

A witness, 46-year-old Sheila M Kennedy, told officers Sunday she had seen a lady living in a toolshed behind the building. The deputies went inside and found Sei Park lying on a bed, "With injury to her head, worm burrowing into her neck, malnutritioned and dehydrated," according to a BSO report.

Dania Beach Rescue took her to Hollywood Memorial Hospital.

Park later told investigators he put his mother in the shed so he could rent out her room, said Veda Coleman-Wright, police spokeswoman.

At a court hearing Monday, Broward County Judge John "Jay" Hurley set Park’s bond at $5,000 and ordered him to have no contact with his mother.

At Monday's bond hearing, Park told Hurley he emigrated from Korea in 1997. He said he holds a part-time security position and works as a tutor at Broward College.

On the tv report the cop said he didn't see anything wrong with it when they questioned him. You could tell she was disgusted by him.

If that was the case, then why didn't he move into the shed his damn self?...bastid!

Ah Florida, always surprising me.

I couldnt even think of even telling my mom to move in a shed...how does that idea even come to mind!?!?!
