I would say the jeans. With shirt No. 1 and sandals.
On the other hand, I do trust Genesia in her taste. 99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%. |

I promise, no funk-a-fied busted feetz. I'd probably give myself a pedi tonight and bring foot balm to put on right before going to the shin-dig. |

Yes m'am.
Your pick was my initial choice anyway :soulmates: so that's most likely what I will wear. Plus I think I'd like to wear the jeans out one of the nights.
Here's the thing: If you're at a beach/beach club, jeans are just wrong. Too heavy and too dark. What I'd prefer to the khakis is linen pants, actually - but khakis will do in a pinch. If you had gurkha shorts and a linen shirt (think Ralph Fiennes in The English Patient), that'd be ideal.
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

Ahh..
our [main] reunion is always held at the school (with other events around the city for 3 days)
no sandals.
like G said; first shirt, middle pants
jeans w/the other 2 shirts
shoes all around (I know a tiny part of this is b/c I hate sandals/exposed toes or feet/getting my feet dirty, so, take it for what it's worth.. )
I will bring shoes in case, but for me sandals is what makes the outfit "beach".
You need sandal therapy.

I agree, the jeans seem/feel too heavy for something daytime by the beach. This is why I rather save them for the club. |

I have this lime-y/sorbet colored polo I've never worn. I would wear it with the dressier of the two khakis. Not sure, I'd probably do shoes.
[img:$uid]http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i9/jgascot/IMAG0185.jpg[/img:$uid]
And I have this Tommy shirt (which in the interest of keeping "soft colors" together I could wear, untucked, sleeves rolled up...sandals, still...I think.
[img:$uid]http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i9/jgascot/IMAG0187.jpg[/img:$uid]
If I wore this, I could then run up and change into the jeans/dark shirt combo for the club at night. Like a bride changing for her reception. |

I like the Tommy shirt - and I actually think that one's better for the beach.

You're allowed to hate the polo. It's nothing special. I bought it just to wear with shorts during the summer, but I'm at that point where I'm second guessing everything.
The Tommy and khakis it is.
Sandals, still or should I switch to shoes? I'm leaning sandals since wearing the shirt untucked and sleeves rolled.

Sandals. It's the beach - they're perfectly appropriate. If you're actually on the beach, you can roll the pant legs, too. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

The dress code is basically "don'ts." Somehow, I don't think johnart was planning on a backwards baseball cap and pants hanging below his ass.
Well, not at the start of the party, anyway. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

Yes, our queen is too classy for that trash!
When I read the list, I thought, "Oh, this is to keep the riff-raff out!" Very good idea. |
