The airline should have "big" seats for big people. Simple as that. We have handicaped ramps and seeing eye dogs etc. , why not big seats for big people? I'm not fat, but I have found most of the comments this orger (especially, but not exclusively) has made in this thread SO offensive and bigoted that I think I'm going to quit this place. I don't want to read this kind of discursive poison; it goes against everything I try to do in my personal and professional life.

1st - I can only base my opinion on what has been written or said about the incident. Really.

Employees must enforce company policies. So I don't think Mr. Dale (steward at the gate) was expressing his own opinion. He was however rude to the three women. That said.

Don't quit it, I think people are just VERY honest on this org, which is really a good thing, as people in the "real world" just say what is politically correct and what you want to hear. I guess the anonimity (did I spell that right?) on the org is what makes people just tell the truth. Sadly, there is alot of bigotry but I think there is everywhere you just don't see it.
