And my sarcastic ass taught my eldest son how to be a smart ass. It drives me up the wall but then I think of how I talk to him at times and I laugh because he got his behavior from me.

So we laugh when we are disagreeing on stuff. I constantly have to remind him that I am his mother and I am serious about what I want him to do. He usually ends up coming back to me later and apologizing. He's a sweet kid, so I stay patient with his snippy answers.

when people say I DONT KNOW...seems like they just dont want to be involved which is understandable, but the tone in which it is said can be striking...

I hope im not considered a bitch for detesting another persons behavior. Its been beat outta me, but i dont see fit to beat it outta her or anyone else for that matter......:-/

You don't seem like a bitch, but I don't know you very well. But I know a lot of women (nice women, not bad people) who will admit freely "I can be a real bitch sometimes"

So maybe you can really answer the question for yourself. My guess is she is partly right and you are partly right, but both of you are looking at your own side rather than at each other's. That seems to be how most conflicts arise.

My wife tried to keep it from me but my 8year old daughter (my personal tape recorder ) filled me in. "Daddy...Elijah called mama a b-word today."

He tried to apologize as I dragged his ass down the stairs by his shirt collar and tossed him on the porch. "You dont live here no more, fool!"

He stood there for a while then used his phone to call his "Pretty Tia Chela" (she brainwashed him at a very young age and he still calls her this to this day) and asked her to pick him up. She calls me and asks what the fuck is going on...then we all really decided to fuck with him.

Chela picks him up and takes him all the way to her house...where her husband pretended to act like he had no clue what was going on. Once my son fills him in..."Oh no...you cant stay here, dude. After what you said? I cant have you in my house either."

Took him to his grandma's house and she proceeded to curse his ass out in Spanish.

Eventually (the next day) she brought his sorry ass home to me and we talked...well I talked...he listened and cried.

That was about a year ago...no problems since. He gets mad at his mom and just puts his head down.

I have a friend whom I've known since college and I'm like an "auntie" to the daughter she had when we were in school. So I've watched this kid grow up getting the best that her mom and stepdad could give her, including a BMW at 16, designer bags and shoes, and this heffa ain't got no job. I can't even relate to that shit cuz I had a job at 14 and bought all my own shit from then til graduation.

Well, lil miss hot pants got to thinkin' she was grown and shit and started getting real fly with her mom. I've popped her in her grill when she does it in my presence so she tightened that shit up around me. Anyway, she got caught sneaking around with her knucklehead boyfriend and got into a big, ugly confrontation with mama. Mama calls me all helpless and shit don't know what to do. Then this lil heffa drives to my house and talks about how she's running away from home. Of course she's driving the bimmer mom and dad bought and wearing the clothes they paid for. So she's all like, "Can I stay with you for awhile auntie."

So I ask, "Ummm you running away from home right?" She's like "Yeah, I hate them and I can't take it no more." So I say, "Cool, let's go to the house and get your shit."

We hop in my car and instead of taking her home I drove her hot lil ass straight to a homeless shelter and dropped her off. I told her, "When you run away from home and ain't got shit of your own OR a damn job THIS is where you go. Good luck!"

I left her ass there and called her mom and told her what I did and threatened to kick her ass if she went to get her. She didn't that night even tho Miss Grown and Sassy was blowing everybody up. The next day they picked her up and had a come to Jesus meeting about appreciating shit and having a false sense of entitlement.

For the most part, they didn't have any more problems outta her, she graduated top of her class, and is in her third year in one of the toughest pharmacy programs in the country. She recently gave me a heartfelt thanks for breaking my foot off in her ass and making her appreciate mom more.

Sometimes you gotta show these lil fuckas that the fat meat's greazy.

Sometimes my mother is a bitch and I'd like to call her one TO HER FACE but I normally just wait until she walks away. If he said it under his breath then most likely he didn't want to say it to her face. Sometimes I think being beat is BETTER than the shady things our parents do to make us pay. Usually when kids call their parents names (cuss words) their mad because the parent won't allow the child to so something or go somewhere, stay out late like suzy's parents, blah, blah, blah, etc. and most often it is for the child's own good.

Although it can hurt when you kid says something like that, don't let it get to you (they really don't mean it, not really) they're just frustrated and/or mad.

But you gotta stay strong and hold up the law, don't let her disrespect you like that, so handle yo business and don't look back.
