I don't think you can really know until any of those things happen to you.
Absolutely.
Your mind can be certain that you will act a certain way...up until the point where you actually are faced with the situation, and then the madness of emotions and uncertainty takes over!

I just want to say... or all of the above. I can't believe I stopped by and I'm pretty much familiar with everyone on this thread. Sure has been a long time. |

Well since I am here... I feel it is critical to somehow to forgive because living with hate or anger is wasted energy and is a hinderance to being the better part of yourself.
Whatever the situation whether you have to eliminate certain sources to get to this point... or remain seperate from the source directly... the most critical aspect is getting to the point of eliminating the energy that is draining us.
It may take years or even a lifetime... but reaching that point before we are gone, I truly feel is critical to being at final peace. I don't feel I ever want to reach my final peace with unfinished buisness. |

I'm very choosy about friendship, but if I call you friend, that means I put you on the same level as my family. I consider TRUE friendship a sacred trust. Breaking that trust(spreading lies about me, borrowing money and not paying it back, etc.) is unforgivable. You only get one shot to burn me. Goodbye, leave me alone and have a nice life. We're only here a short time, and I will not waste it dealing with other folks' bullshit.
Now others here are more forgiving than I am. Maybe I'm too extreme, but that's how I roll.
Wait a minute, I don't remember typing this post.
Nah, just kidding. I'm the exact same way. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee

That's when you refrain from running the one who wronged you over with your car multiple times, and instead you say, "I forgive you" and walk away.

Make sure you don't leave trails, proof and have a legit alibi.
And when you do get arrested and incarcerated, just tell everybody:
"She made me do it"

Nope. Not going to fly. It's just the normal motivation for murder. Revenge.
There was a choice not to do it (fogiveness and soulsearch), however the murderer did (anger and blaming the other). The only thing they come up with is:
"She made me do it"
That sentence represents the excuse of hurting others as if there is no other option to react
