Ian Halperin who wrote the unauthorized Schwarzenegger biography "The Governator," told "Extra" the actor/politician is a broken man. "He's actually shed tears. He knows he's done wrong, and he's begging on his knees for forgiveness and one last chance. Arnold has been making calls to Maria repeatedly, asking her for one more chance."
But Halperin added, "Maria wants no part of it."
Shriver was spotted Thursday having lunch with U2 lead singer Bono, who Halperin says she is leaning on for support. "Maria and Bono have been friends for years," said the author. "Maria just wanted to seek advice, and Bono's going to help Maria get over the devastation of being cheated on all these years by Arnold."
In an "Extra" exclusive interview, Gigi Goyette claimed she was Schwarzenegger's secret lover for decades, beginning before he married Shriver, but when the love-child scandal broke, Schwarzenegger called Goyette in a panic. But he had no idea he was looking at his dad in action, the boy’s cousin has revealed.
Jorge Pena, the nephew of Arnie’s mistress maid Mildred Baena, has become the first relative to speak out about the scandal.
The 28-year-old cousin of Arnie’s love child Joseph said the whole family felt “stupid” for not realising Arnold was the father.
He said: “Joe would idolise Arnold. We all idolised him. Joe used to watch Terminator 2 all the time, he really loved that movie.
“I felt kind of like I should have known something. I feel stupid for believing Mildred’s former husband Roger was his dad.
“We would all joke to Joe, ‘Arnold’s your dad!’ because he just looks so much like him. Joe would just laugh it off.
But we never had any idea. We thought it was a funny joke. But it was real.”

another similarity to arnold - i've read that jermaine's wife first wife, hazel, found about his out-of-wedlock child 'cause the woman was in the hospital giving birth at the same time as hazel was.

Arnold Schwarzenegger met with daughters Christina, 19, and Katherine, 20, this afternoon at the Fairmont Miramar hotel in Santa Monica for a pow wow about his impending divorce from the girls' mother, Maria Shriver.
Shriver has reportedly retained divorce attorney Laura Wasser to represent her, while it was reported today that Schwarzenegger now has lawyer Bob Kaufman on his side.
The power couple separated May 9th and neither side has officially confirmed that a divorce is in the works. We asked Maria on Monday if she would confirm she's hired Wasser and the former television reporter stayed quite.
Today, Schwarzenegger arrived at the hotel looking serious and a bit stern. His daughters arrived separately, just ahead of their father and they all left the hotel after about an hour and a half.
Our photographer tells us: "Arnold didn't look his usual, happy self. He was serious and it looked like he was dreading whatever was about to happen."
When Christina and Katherine left, our photographer noted: "Neither of them was smiling. It definitely didn't look like they had a light-hearted lunch. All three of them seemed to have a lot on their minds."
It has been reported a Schwarzenegger-Shriver divorce could cost the Terminator star around $200 million. Wasser, who's representing Shriver, repped Britney Spears at the beginning of her divorce from Kevin Federline (she then dropped the case before the divorce was finalized).
