Favorite Muppet show character Okay, we touched on Sesame Street, but what about the slightly more sophisticated Muppet Show? My personal faves were always Kermit and Animal! Howzabout you? Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

Fozzy. That was his name, right? -------
A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti... "I've just had an apostrophe!" "I think you mean an epiphany..."

Those are my choices. Don't remember the old guys names, but they were always standing up in the balcony critiquing the show. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

The Muppet Show is in no way more sophisticated than Sesame Street. Its audience is arguably more adult, but it is total entertainment where Sesame Street's mission, even if it is geared toward children, is to teach substantive things -- math, science, language, multiculturalism, techniques of social interaction, etc. -- to the world.
Anyway, as for the muppets, I like Fozzy, Beaker and the captain from Pigs in Space. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
