Have you ever been rejected?

How often has it happened to you? Did you want to drop kick them and did something better come later on?

Yup. Not to my face per se...just...they chose someone else over me...despite my efforts. It made me wanna beat him and the girl up...especially him. Taking advantage of my kindness and love...then to choose another over me. Not great for the self-esteem. neutral

But I get over it. Each time it happens...I get bitter for a few weeks...then I'm back to my normal self.

Learned a valuable lesson tho...

Mister...if you like me..prove it, motherfucker. lol Cuz I'm sick of being your fool....

Yes I was rejected and the most recent one was my baby daddy told me that he found a senior citizen that was better than me in everyway.

Sexier, smarter, better in bed, better woman in general.... I was 35 at the time. I was devastated, I cried and even begged him to come back to his family, he never did.

So years later I found a new lover... who is sexier and a better man than him in everyway.

And old baby daddy came back with nice gifts in hand, took me out to a fancy dinner and then took me on a walk to my beach to be romantic ... to ask me to be with him and forgive him since he wanted to be with his family again... I said in a soft loving voice:

"Well, since I am not the sexiest, smartest, or the best woman you ever been with, you will always search for and desire the best... so you should go find the one that was better than me in every way and make it work with her because you will never have me again."

and I went home and called up my lover and for the first time told him that I loved him... we had awesome sex that day, kept me smiling for days after. cloud9

I get rejected more than I get accepted, actually lmao.

But it ends up working out, because all the guys that reject me turn out to be assholes who would've treated me like shit anyway, and the guys that don't are sweethearts.

nod highfive At the time we started our relationship he once told me I am the only woman in the world he could never fall in love with falloff . But as he had told me before he was about to fall in love with me at a time when I was not interested in him, but just saw him as a wonderful friend I refused to believe that and thank God after a little while everything changed for the better woot! .

@ the OP Yes of course....Always the ones that I'm really digging sometimes too. Depending on my mood I lash out or cry.....usually cry.. lol and I try and figure out all the 101 things that are wrong with me..so after a good cry and lots of sweets and a couple of days feeling like it's just the end of the world..I usually get over it and find someone else who is 1000x better...especially when I least except it...and usually someone I never woulda noticed before.

YES! After 13 years of marriage, I found out my husband was having a year long affair with some woman he met on Myspace, ( this was in 2007). Once caught, he told me I was stagnant, going no where in life, was not interesting enough, resented me for the money HE had to borrow from his parents to support our family, and in general I sucked as a person. He told me my half of the debt was 10K. I was shocked, scared, devasted, humiliated, embarrassed, and stupidly believed every thing he said to be true. I tried, in vain, to get him to stop with the other woman.

Long story short he was with MANY women in addition to his new love. I divorced him and re-discovered myself. I learned I'm a strong sexy woman who is loyal to the people I love. I'm funny, sensitive, and smart. I have a great smile, a positive attitude, and love my curvy body. I even discovered the he was not the ony man who loves my body too!! LOL. I've gone from just a phone sex operator eek to nowmaking a good living as a broadcast closed captioner. Supporting myself and our three daughters without one dime from him. I've even managed to pay off my home while he lives with his parents.

I got over it, and consider the experience a gift, it made me love myself first before loving someone else. Something I realized I didn't do when I was with him.

Oh, and I paid his parents the 10K he said I owed them. At first they tried to refuse the money, saying they were helping their grandchildren and never felt I owed them anything. I insisted they take it. I told them once their son said this to me I could not look them in the eye knowing they may or may not feel this way too. It was the best feeling in the world to hand them that money, that I saved for 4 years. I have a great relationship with them to this day.

I never could confirm her age, david would never tell me her age. All I knew was that David was 36, I was 35 and her youngest child was 29 years of age... she had 5 kids and was a grandmother. She had to be at least in her late 50's ... I was told she looked old in the face by a neighbor that happened to know her.

She met David at his job, she was his supervisor and my neighbor worked with them both. My neighbor was a guy and he was horrified that someone David's age was with her. I never met her and I never wanted to, but she was there at that job for years. She dumped him a year later after she tried to stab him and was arrested. lol

Isn't karma great? cloud9

You have a really healthy attitude about it!

I give off the appearance of not caring and moving on quite quickly,

but inside it messes with my pride!

I much prefer to be the one doing the rejecting! lol
