Loving Beyonce's Let's Move Campaign I've had my criticisms of Bey but dammit if I ain't loving her Let's Move campaign. She seems so genuine and motivated to connect with kids. By now everybody's seen the original video but this is one is TOO freakin' cute.
Even Michelle Obama is doing her thing
Here's the original if you missed it

I love it too! And it's a great thing that's being done! My mother made sure I was active when I was younger, so I can connect with this. I only wish this was going on while I was in school.

I like how fucking cool the kids are in the Harlem School video. They're doing their own thing and in walks Beyonce and joins them in the dance routine; they freak out and scream but still keep their cool and keep on dancing and still keep in step. The official Let's Move video = the Hot Lunch Jam from the original Fame movie. "...literal people are scary, man literal people scare me out there trying to rid the world of its poetry while getting it wrong fundamentally down at the church of "look, it says right here, see!" - ani difranco

This is the first time I'm hearing about this. I don't always love Bee's music, but this campaign is something I can get into. And the kids from the Harlem school were WERKIN', ol girl in the pink scarf knew she was on point! I love Beyonce's outfit in the original video too. time flies.

Well I'm glad to see that B isn't doing all those vulgar pussy thrusts and is finally doing a dance that children and the first lady can do without looking like little strumpets. Plus these kids can get a good workout at the same time.

Beyoncé: Pop diva, movie star, and now: gym teacher. The performer surprised a squealing class of middle-school students at PS 161: Pedro Albizu Campos middle school in Harlem. The students were in the gymnasium, dancing to a choreographed routine to a remix of her hit, "Get Me Bodied." The singer, wearing sky-high heels, skinny white jeans, and a "Let's Move!" top, joined 85 starstruck students to dance up a storm to the song she adapted for the workout, called "Move Your Body." Despite the appearance of the music icon, the kids kept their cool and kept on dancing -- and Beyoncé barely stole the show from these talented dancers-in-training. Middle schools across the country participated in the "dance-in" -- all part of first lady Michelle Obama's anti-obesity campaign Let's Move!. And let's just say, with those moves, Beyoncé is on board. The school kids, who had the routine down, certainly got a kick out the star's high kicks. One seventh grader told CBS News, "It was amazing. Beyoncé came out of nowhere and started dancing with us. That made me so happy." Michelle Obama also surprised students and showed off her "Dougie" in a D.C. area public school celebrating the day of fitness. But the video of Beyoncé and her middle-school back-up dancers is what moved the Web, with almost 600,000 views. Searches on Yahoo! have boogied up the charts with lookups on "beyonce move your body video," "beyonce lets move," and "beyonce move your body." Gym class never looked so good.
