I know some people will call this a racist statement, but hey, who cares. A lot of people do not believe they are racist, because a racist mind no matter how many books they read or how many degrees they have is just stuck on stupid.

On my thread about the black family being burned out (which got deleted - and further proves my point ) I mentioned that a meeting was going to be held to discuss the issue. Well actually, it was an interracial family (black man, white woman). Anyway, the aunt of the woman stood up in front of the entire audience and admitted that she believed for years she was not racist until her neice married this black man. She had the black friends, blah, blah, blah (you guys know the story -- it's the same one everytime). She could not understand her own feelings about him and it took years for her to accept him. She had no answers as to why she felt this way, but she wanted to stress the fact that racism comes from the heart, and until one examines their own heart they will never overcome the racism issue.

No one can change another's heart. That is something that each individual must do for themselves. I pity racists and those who are but don't admit it or even realize it. To me they are just a bunch of ignorant fools. They can be and stay racists their whole lives for all I care. What I want and what I EXPECT is respect (when I give it) and equality (because it is my God given right as a human being and as an American citizen). I could care less how you personally feel about me. Racism in the hearts of racist is not my problem it is theirs. They are the ones who have to live with the hate. Let them be, but never stop striving for respect and equality.

Yeah, there has been a good point made... when will certain people (I'm not naming names) on here stop being so racist? There are a number of you who think that EVERYTHING that is done is racist and I feel VERY sorry for you. It must suck to think that everyone is always out to get you.

Take the chip off your shoulder for a while, it will improve your posture.

Prince is also fooling himself by addressing this issue on the rainbow children. He is delusional as is most people who have been victimized by perceived racial hate.

I just hope that the next interracial family that gets burned out is not one of my friends.

I will feel better when everyone stops IMMEDIATELY blaming everything that happens on racism. Most of the time, these racist allegations are NOT backed up with ANY proof at all. It is VERY simple to blame whites for every problem that happens, just as it would be easy for me to say that a group of white-hating blacks came by and broke my water main and caused my water to be fucked up for four days. There is no proof that it was a racially-motivated water line breakage, but I could easily claim that I was the victim of racism.

i realize for sure that not every incident of racism is founded but come on this country has a very solid history of discrimination. you may not be a racist, but there are many people who are. they are taught to be racist. case in point: kids in elementary school have had their books vandalized with swastikas and "white power". imagine your kids coming home with them damn books. how would you feel, what do you tell your children?

I agree with his statement... he actually mentioned that there are things brought up and called racist when there is NO racism involved. I also agree that there are a good number of racists in America and that there are race-related crimes. There are a great number of white AND black racists in America and I do not agree with any of them and I have ZERO respect for each group.

Would you agree that there are race-related crimes that are perpetrated against whites by blacks too?
