Damn, and Bryson from Groove Theory is in this too. And he don't look nowhere near as gay as he did in Beauty Shop.

This looks hella interesting!! I can't imagine this'll have any problem being picked up, especially with the clout that Idris and Debbie brings to the project! but we all know how the TV business can be, ESPECIALLY for us African Americans!! If we can get something like "Love & Hip Hop" on TV these days, then Lord knows this should be greenlit IMMEDIATELY!

True, but that reality hot mess is still cheaper than a scripted show to produce. That's the problem.

But I loved seeing Debbie in a Lydia Grant-ish role. I was waiting for her to slam that big stick down and say: "You want fame? Well, fame costs. And here's where you start paying . . . in sweat."

You're right about the cost factor. I'd be afraid for it to go to BET just so it could get lost in the sauce, but I suppose that would be better than nothing.

Let's hope not, as long as the real brothas and sistas are still calling the shots on the show! If not, that's when they get all Jennifer Hudson-ified and lose their natural thickness and curves.

One good thing it that Idris is providing a vechicle for more black actors to work.

I love his work, and I am glad to see him in a leadership role where he belongs... he is so fine... and talented.. and everything....
