Well first of all you have to make sure it can handle the pan and brush easily...

After that it's pretty plain sailing nod

We did crate training at night... They dont like to lay in their poop or pee so they learn to hold it all nite... During the day I took them out ALOT and ALWAYS gave a yummy special treat when they went potty outside... They still expect it today and one of them is 14 ! lol

I also want to add, as they got older I was able to make the inbetween times they went outside longer so they learned not to want to go every half hour

.

Patience and persistence.

If you don't have that, you shouldn't have a dog.

Call Bark Busters. It's an Aussie company. It's working well with training Bogart.

He tends to be over-protective of our home and us on walks. When a dog walks by our house he loses his mind and gets on the front desk by the bay window (all 150 lbs of him neutral ) and goes nuts. We're still working on this but he is getting much better. In addition during walks he tends to lose it if another dog walks by (or is in their yard even) during our walk. Today I walked him and I only had to spray him (water) once during a point where we were in between 3 dogs. There is also a little asshole rat-dog (terrier/chihuahua) behind us will not stop barking (and has apparently terrorized everyone in their home except the husband). Bogie used to go nuts and pounce on the fence and try to dig under just to get at it (in all fairness I want to do the same sometimes, that dog really is an asshole mad)...but the situation has improved GREATLY and continues to . pray
