In light of the previous (and still on going) thread about tornadoes in Mississippi & Alabama, there are also problems with massive flooding in Arkansas.

And I currently lived in one of those 57 counties that are now disaster areas!

In the early morning hours on Sunday, May 1, 2011, the parking lots of the apartment complex where I'm currently location is suffering from massive flooding. I've manage to just barely but still successfully driven my car out of the flood waters. But sadly, there are 22+ other vehicles of my neighbors that were destroyed by flood waters.

The main good thus far is that no one from this neighborhood is hurt. And no one died from flood waters. But there is a huge concern about the water rising high enough to put most of the first floor apartments in danger.

At the time of tying, private tow trucks companies have successful pull 11 vehicles out of the flood. But the flood water itself is going to get worse because the weather forecast have confirm that we're getting more rain, showers, AND severe thunderstorms from right now this Sunday night through Tuesday afternoon.
