Humor-Free Zone

I love a good joke as much as the next guy. However, there are times when you are all out of chuckles and belly laughs, and you just need to rest a little...

To this end, I have created a Humor-Free Zone that provides an environment devoid of any humor, so we can laugh better later.

I ask everyone to refrain from joking on this thread. Please respect the needs of those who have seeked refuge from humor.

You will note we chose the term humor-free over humorless. Obviously, needing a break from laughter does not mean you are humorless.

The signatures are a problem. Some of them are funny. But I think that's reasonable. Just as long as no one deliberately jokes.

I totally respect your decision to begin this Humour-Free-Zone. Seriousness is superb. I might begin a personal regime of seriousness from this point on. Hasn't the Org got a nice colour scheme?

this is going to be a difficult thread for me. even as i type, i am fighting the urge to mouth off and defy your request, out of sheer percersity.

but, for once, i'll keep my big fat mouth shut and think sober thoughts until i'm finished typoing. there. utterly serious. not even a giggle

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

No. We expect visitors to be humourous inadevertently. As long as the humor was not intended.
