Does physical pain turn you on???

not necessarily a sado/sexual thread, but I'll welcome any opinion...

just curious

personally, I don't dig pain, it's not cool, well it hurts, you know?

well, truth be told, for some reason, I enjoy touching my infected injuries/oral blisters, but that's it, that's as far as I can go. I've been with some girls that dig spanking/biting and similar stuff but I didn't get any pleasure from it...

what about you? discuss

HELL NO! Althought I've been told by several physicians that I have a high pain threshold. I remember years ago I was having a procedure in a urologist's office. I didn't wince or cry out during the examination/procedure. The doctor got up to look at my face and said, "Oh! You're not passed out! I thought you had fainted because you are so quiet. Most women would have been off the table by now creaming in pain!

I've had a few lovers who thought I'd dig that spanking shit, but I put a halt to that pronto. Only person slapping my ass is me and Sally. lol

I work in a sex shoppe, and sometimes, I test the paddles and whips on myself so the customer can see what they can do. Even after they tell me they do want it, sometimes, I continue to paddle myself boxed

nod

Acute pain does nothing for me. But a certain low-level muscle ache from working out or something can be nice. It's cool to feel parts of your body you otherwise don't even notice.

It depends.

Pain in and of itself does nothing for me. But when I'm doing something for someone, it's a nice indicator as to how well I'm doing wink

It's definately a way to tell if I'm doing it right nod

A little bit in the absolute right context - yes.

As others have said, being sore after a workout is a good sort of pain. I used to have a horrible habit of chewing on the inside of my mouth – and I’d really grind at it when it would sting a little bit. It’s a strange thing, I suppose, but there you have it.

And a nibble or a pinch from my boyfriend in the right spot and redface

But lots of painful things suck. Stubbing my toe or hitting my head on something is NOT a turn-on, for example.

LayDownMisty

man it is too early for me to be reading this stuff

but once I dated a woman who practically pushed me into a wall right as I was leaning in for the first kiss - then she started cussing at me

turns out it was all part of what she liked

it was an instant turn off

she soon broke up with me and went back to her abusive ex-boyfriend

kinda sad

Sometimes, kinda, but as Erin said, more being physically uncomfortable. Sometimes I like that, a bit of tension and discomfort, being on the back foot, so to speak.

I'm weird with pain though. I've managed to relax and turn toothaches into quite pleasant, interesting sensations before.

lol A few years ago I was stubborn about going to the dentist about a tooth I had with a large cavity. I got toothaches really often, and very, very painful ones. If I was out somewhere doing something, having to talk to ppl, I got really irritable. It was pretty much unbearable. However, if I was at home, could be left alone, and could lay on the bed and relax and just concentrate on the pain I was able to almost enjoy the sensation, like feel the throbbing in the tooth but not as pain, just a novel sensation. Sometimes I could just tune it out completely after about 10 mins.

Is it really that weird though? lol I'm sure others have experienced something similar. Of course, it was weird I didn't just go to the dentist, but I've since sorted that out.

Depends.

Getting a tattoo or piercing hurts, but feels good in a strange way; possibly because your doing it for the sake of something you really want on your body.
