The grammar was better, that's for sure.

Sesame Street was also muuuuch better in the 70s but that's just my personal opinion. I also enjoyed the original Muppets Show.

I liked the girls but I think women look much more beautiful these days, and fashionwise there is much more variety, too. The peer pressure is , in my opinion, not as strong as it was in the ridiculously materialistic 80s. Plus, these days, you can look like in the 1970s, 80s, 90s or whatever....anything is available and possible, especially when it comes to retro sneakers ( even though most of them are not nearly as good as the original sneakers, like for instance the Air Force Ones).

Then again, I have this vague feeling of people being a bit more tolerant with regards to fashion in the early to mid 80s but I might be wrong. Like I said, these days you can pretty much wear whatever.

Unfortunately, I was too young back then to be having fun. I was too busy playing with Steve Austin and Jaime Sommers action figures when I would rather have been playing with a slinky.....
