I guess it's like that for most men. While most women cannot even count how often they have been hit on openly by men. Men just do that all the time, but it's still very rarely the other way round.

But some men are not aggressive enough. I was walking down the street and this guy stopped his motorcycle and asked if I was John or whoever, and I said no. He asked if I hung out at some club and I said no. A bunch of questions later he says "here's my card anyway." All innocent I said okay, and took the card.

About a year later I said "oooohhhhh!" I honestly did not know he was hitting on me.

:falloff: Your story reminds me of Charlotte's stories on a thread some time ago when she first said she never got hit on and then came up by and by with all kind of examples when it had happened and she didn't even realize .

But the thing is: It's a typical example of how men are, no matter if straight or gay, every woman can give you examples like yours.

That said, while you may fade into the background of a Glasgow oversaturated with Glaswegian men, Blackbob, I can almost guarantee that if you came with that Scottish accent to most places in the United States, for example, unless you smell of sulphur or have three eyes and a snaggletooth, you'd have to beat women off with a stick.
