Well the intel that led to a successful campaign (allowed a kill shot) was obtained from a Guantanamo Bay detainee (Which President Obama wanted to close)

The successful campaign was efforted by Military personnel stationed in the Mid-East region (Personnel that President Obama wanted to extract/ bring home).

Osama Bin Laden was being harbored by Pakistan not in cave but a mansion (So we spent alot of time taking a pussy-footed approach with regards to Foreign relations, when we should have been more forceful and determined).

So the success of the mission was entirely dependent on President Obama not being able to exercise his political and idealogical vision (as relates to Military strategy). In other words, if the troops were pulled from the Middle East and Guantanamo Bay were deactived, Bin Laden would in all likehood be alive today.

It didn't take President Bush 7 years to fail and only two for President Obama to succeed... It took the U.S. Military and National Security Agencies in conjunction and cooperation of the Executive branch of the Federal Gov't a little over 9 years to succeed.

If President Obama were as successful in shuttering Gitmo and withdrawing troops as he was ramming National Health care down our throats I ask you, were would Osama be now?
