Ever since I heard the first NWA songs way back in 1987 I've always wondered what Old English 800 aka 8Ball tasted like. Now I'm here sipping on some 8Ball reminiscing about the good old days when Mercedes 190s were cool and girls in biker shorts got me hot. This is a world premiere to me and thanks to a dear friend of mine that some of you may or may not know I am here sipping on some 8Ball maxin and relaxin, trying to make up for the years that I couldn' t have any. Boy was I missing out on things...this stuff is good!

It has a smooth bouquet, a hint of caramel and tastes much better than I thought. Next on my list is Coqui 900 but for now it is Old English 800 for me. Finally I was able to connect with my main man Icecube..

I usually don't drink beer but this stuff is not as bad as its reputation. It goes well with nacho chips and cheese dip. I'm seriously having a ball here in the windy city.

So...orgers....YAY or NAY?

I only drink Old E when I am trying to feel nostalgic.

It's a bit on the tart side but it's not too heady. Though I can chug normal piss-beer and I cannot chug Old E cuz the flavor is way too intense.

I've just finished a bottle and I must admit it is indeed a fine American product. Makes me feel tipsy though. But that's okay. I will go out real soon.
