Has anyone ever had to take this stuff?

I'm trying to prep for my erm..."procedure" tomorrow and I'm supposed to drink two huge bottles of this stuff.

AAAARRRRGGGH! I managed to keep the first one down but I can't bring myself to do another one. Sucking on lime isn't helping much...any suggestions?

it's been almost three months since my ordeal. it has almost faded to a dim memory, but, i'll never, ever forget. i refer to the 'prep' part of this inimitable outpatient procedure, which in my case included: one entire 8 oz bottle of miralax, 64 oz of gatorade and two dulcolax tabs on an empty stomach, followed by an entire 10 oz bottle of magnesium citrate the next morning three hours before i went in.

after that hell, the procedure was nothing. you won't even care. plus, they'll stick you with some type of narcotic which will put you in mind of how your head feels like a helium balloon, only loosely tethered to the rest of you. fix your mind on the words, this too shall pass.

it might take a week or so for the chemicals to leave your system. drink a lot of water and try to sweat it out in hot baths. good luck and wishing you good results!!

Thanks, I am drinking lots of water as we speak...my mouth is sooo dry.

Don't let nobody tell ya there ain't no hell...hell is Moviprep! After a lovely breakfast and lunch of chicken broth and jello I managed to get most of it down, all the while thinking this must be what goat piss tastes like...Jaysus!

You're right though. The man with the happy juice made it all better. I was out like a light and woke up feeling okay even though I'm still kinda groggy.

Glad it's over.
