man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

thumbs up!

I missed that last 2 episodes of the last season...when I finally got around to looking them up on HBO On-Demand, they'd been taken off.

You really didn't miss anything. Last season was a complete waste of time. Here's hoping the new season makes up for it!

You think so? I kind'a enjoyed the departure from the Maryanne nonsense (totally different than in the books)...the thing with Alcide was more true to the story.

I loved the Maryanne stuff. I thought it was great. Last season was just boring to me. Nothing at all happened of note. The big evil vampire they were fighting got buried in cement. So did Eric. But Eric got out. That's it.

Pish tosh! Of course I am! I announced this WEEKS ago talk to the hand when a True Blood site had been saying the season opener was 12 June, then HBO officially announced the date of 26 June. I was not a happy girl.

HBO has a production blog site and a youtube channel for True Blood. I cannot cut and paste links, but go to www.hbo.com www.true-blood.net is also a great site...except for that little misrepresentation of the Season 4 opening date shenanigans.

Season 3 was kinda hit and miss to me. They had so many opportunities to just really push the show into the outer limits and just went meh with them. I LOVE that they buried Russel in cement. He's going to get out and he's going to be PISSED. Hopefully they really let him go batshit crazy and don't go meh on it again.

I'm worried about Season 4. Book 4 is my favorite and it's obvious they're already deviating from it on the show greatly. I do like the actress playing Marlee (I think her name is on the show. She played Aunt Petunia in the Harry Potter movies). I love her in fact, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

I'm also just as ready for the 11th Sookie Stackhouse book "Dead Reckoning" to come out on 3 May 11.

Oh, and Alexander Skarsgard has been at Cochella and he is looking drool

And Stephen Moyer was in a race car accident recently (either earlier this week or late last week he hit the wall in a charity-type prelim race) and he was not injured.

Am I ready???

If anyone is interested in Book 11 of the Series "Dead Reckoning", www.true-blood.net just put out a great article previewing the book on their website.

It has a lot of spoiler-ish info, so don't go if you don't wanna know!

The fairy shit from last season looks like crap from first season of Star Trek Next Generation... yuck! But that episode where Tara beats in the face of her captor... was good.
