I'm writing a thesis on how meat consumption facilitated the enlargement of human brains throughout the course of human evolution. I hope the person who will mark it is not vegan lol

If you attend a major university in the United States, your thesis will probably be considered hate speech.

UK. and it's not something I came up with, many scientific papers have been written on it including those written by US American scientists wink

nod

Yeah, I've heard that before.

Something about the protein from red meat allowing or prompting the evolutionary expansion of the important areas of the brain.

I was just re-screening a lecture by Sean Carroll where he touched on human skull and brain evolution in a brief section. He mentioned that the reduction of temporalis jaw muscles in humans played a significant role in allowing cranium expansion, and that cooked meat eating in turn was very likely a significant factor. Since we didn’t require the massive muscles attached to our sagittal crest for grinding grains, pressure was taken off our skull, freeing up the skull to expand in other ways. Completely fascinating, I think.

I'll post the video in case anyone's interested. The section on skull evolution starts at 36 minutes & the section on sagittal crest is around the 44 minute mark.

They're all in prison now. neutral

That was sarcasm. Thank you.

i do feel fine, when i'm eating really healthy. i used to juice every day, cook at home and everything. i'm getting back into that now; but there have been periods where i eat out all the time and don't cook... then i don't feel as well overall. i think when you know what you're putting in dishes, you just feel better.

and i am certainly committed. yes indeed. i was vegetarian for three years before i became vegan. i also live in portland, which is a pretty good place to be vegan. i'm from new york, which was also a good place.
