sorry for your loss, Mach...I've heard so many times, that one does not become an adult until they lose one or both of their parents...

Your mom had Alzheimer's didn't she? Maybe she is somewhere rediscovering all those memories she had lost.

Either way I know she'd be happy to know you will always remember her.

Yes ~ she was diagnosed over 11 yrs ago and My Dad and I were her constant caregivers

I lost her twice once yrs ago when I realized she had NO idea who I was anymore and then physically last month

I hope she is happy and enjoying being whole again in the spirit world

I know the feeling, my Mom and I were very close.

I lost her five years ago, how I wish I could just call her up sometimes.

Hope you've been able to get that bit of time to reflect and unwind a little from all the time and energy and love you put into caring for your mother. Tough as it must be to see her pass away you'll surely come out the other side refreshed for a new chapter.
