omg

Okay, don't panic! First, does it have a small mandilubular canal indicating a lack of the auditory specializations seen in more advanced cetacaens??

No, no! That's good!

Now grab it by it's molar teeth and heave!

Whew! Crisis averted...

You really don't have to worry that much. Archeocetes only eat modern cetes. Since you aren't a whale, I wouldn't worry!

However, it if is a Lemon archeocete from Yemen who has an affinity for peppermint...

Beware!

Thanks for the help. At least I got some real answers on this. Most people must be at a loss like I am.

No problem. I know archeocetes. They can be fun housepets if the owner is properly prepared...

Yeah, that's the thing. I wasn't prepared. I didn't even know it was an archeocete at first.

We found out together, remember? It was quite a revelation. We kept trying to figure out what that thing was asking, "what is that? what should we do with it? should we keep it?" But then, the truth finally occurred to us.

I didn't know you were ok with revealing the secret. If word gets out that we were caring for an archeocete, we could be in MAJOR trouble.

I thought you were scared...wouldn't you be relieved if she left? And how can you verify the gender anyway?

Well, I'm slowly growing used to her. Sometimes I have mild panic attacks once it really sinks in what kind of creature I'm harboring here. Most days, I'm cool with it though. Today she freaked me out.
