I have a beautiful partner who lives in an island paradise. Too bad I don't live there too

Do you remember where you stayed in Brooklyn? New York City is definitely safer than Trinidad now. I've taken mass transit home from work at all hours of the night alone and never felt threatened at all. | |

Contrary to for example South Africa I never felt threathened in Trinidad in all the months I spent there. The only times I felt unsafe were when I was alone in the unlocked house in the night as the closest neighbour is half an hour away. But I am not denying that the crime there has increased in the last years.
