I've been taking morning walks to destress and ground myself lately.

It's hard to describe what a little bit of sun and a nice quiet moment in the day

just talking a leisurely walk can do for the spirits.

I love it.

I'm blessed because there are all sorts of little nooks and crannies around here with

interesting things to look at--amongst the garbage, roaches and rats.

I enjoy walking in the college campus but only at the evening, given that I'm far from a morning person

That's actually really beautiful. Is that just a public space? Amazing how nice life can be when beauty is, itself, a priority.

I live near Lake Erie in Michigan. I frequently walk down to the beach at sunrise. It's so beautiful, peaceful and calm. Sometimes I walk the beach, looking for beach glass, sometimes I just sit and look out at the vast lake, watching the sun rise and contemplate all of God's greatness.

I go in the freezing winter too. One morning, I walked up to the beach and when I came over this small hill leading up to it, I saw a lone swan trudging through the thin ice to get to open water. Everything was so still and utterly quiet, the morning sun glistening off the ice, I actually cried a little for the beauty of the scene.

Here's a couple of pictures from winter and one I took last week of my daughter at the beach that I thought was pretty.

That is a very nice place! the sound of the water is music to my ears

The track I jog at was pretty quiet yesterday but nothing interesting to look at there.

I walk this mountian road almost every morning ... though I must say that my witching hours walks are my favorite really

Just around where we live is nice, especially in the mornings, as there's a lot of greenery still, despite the increasing development. I love walking to the market to get breakfast.

Also, Kaeng Krachan. Not a lot of ppl go there much of the year. Very relaxing place to chill out and go for little walks.

i walk here everyday near my house to take my son to school.

I go a walk to a reservior thats probably about 3 miles outside my village.

This is a video I took when the reservior was frozen.

I decided the coolest noise on earth was created when you threw a stone over the ice

Kinda old, but on the island this is my spot. Off the island I'll have to snap/film something new...

The place in my video is only about 45 minutes from her location. That geographic diversity is one of my favorite things about the Bay Area.

Apologies. Not stupid, you did just say Tampa. San Francisco Bay Area. Kim is in the South Bay and I'm in the East Bay.
