4g Phone or Iphone?

I'm in the market for a phone and cell phone plan. I want an Iphone, but I'm told the 4G phones are better.

What carrier should I use and what phone is best? I will use it for work and I like to have the internet at my fingertips.

I have an Android 4G and I hate it. HTC Evo. It's great if you enjoy something that needs to be recharged every half hour (more often if you actually use it).

And apparently I and the people who market 4G have very, very different ideas about what constitutes a "fast internet speed."

Wait til sept when the new iPhone is released. All indications are that it is
Going to 4g capable. I'm still holding on to my IPhone 3GS
Since it does everything the i4 does, minus face time and flash

A half hour? Really? Do you have a task killer app?

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

We switched from our iPhones to the HTC Inspire and are super happy with them!

I'm exaggerating. I did have the task killer app, but I lost it when I had to reset my phone to factory settings because of a "mandatory voicemail app" that HTC insisted on--but which would never actually download. But the task killer never worked well anyway--everytime I checked it, all the things I had previously killed were back up and running. That includes some idiotic NASCAR app--please trust that I would NEVER have installed, much less started, a NASCAR app.

I suppose I should spend some time getting to know my phone and understanding its whys and wherefores. But I, in my curmudgeonliness, feel I really shouldn't have to do that much work.
