I've toyed around with Suse Linux (after it was bought by Novel), and liked it but was largely unfamiliar with much else.
I was hoping that somehow Novel porting their brilliant e-directory and Zenworks platforms over to running on Suse Linux would help to save the company--to this day I swear by Novel's e-directory and ZenWorks as being superior to Microsoft's ActiveDirectory and SMS management platforms.
At one time, Novel's future really depended on how quickly Linux would take off, but at this time, I don't think Linux will be anything but niche.
Don't get me wrong--I like Linux, but Mac will always use OS-X, and it appears that Windows 8 will actually be the cheapest OS Microsoft has ever released, making Linux less tantalizing to consumers and businesses alike.
You're a real fucker. You act like you own this place--ParanoidAndroid <-- about as witty as this princess gets! I hope everyone pays more attention to Sags posts--sweething Jesus weeps

Troni, I have 2 words for you: Linux Mint

Linux Mint is THE most user-friendy Linux distro ever. It's even better than Ubuntu.

Have you check out Ubuntu, Linux Mint (my current OS! :green: ), OR Debian lately? These Linux distros are more reliable than Microsoft's Window Vista & Window 7.
And if you're a fan of the smooth graphic design of Apple's OS-X, you can get any of the mention Linux distros in KDE graphic design that is equally smooth.

Ubuntu is my OS of choice. I love it. I'm currently running the beta version of 11.04 (stable version should hit in a couple weeks) and it's awesome, a big update from the previous 10.10 version which I had been running for a long time. |
