it's a rare spectacle. I still remember Prince Charles and Dianna's wedding. you're really pleasant to be around, aren't you.

Made great plans already.

Have the Union Jack outside,

have all the girls over, hop in wedding dresses, have a royal high tea while watching it all. Getting really drunk and our comments will get funnier by the hour.

And after that, it's queens night!!!

Yeaaah!

Next day, queens day.

And then I need 2 days sleep.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

That's basically how I feel every night watching the news as they "countdown" the days left till their wedding (as if this is something I'm supposed to be getting excited about).

I remember when Charles & Di got married too. Fond memories! This one I'm actually forward to hearing about.

Besides, it beats hearing more about Charlie Sheen or Lindsay Lohan. lol

While I am happy for Will and Kate that they have found true love and happiness hug kisses fallinluv , I could give a rats ass about this whole wedding. Granted, I may have felt differently if I were actually a British citizen, but since I am American, do I really need my already sorry U.S. news networks breathlessly covering these nuptials when they should be covering events here, especially those about creating jobs for unemployed Americans? While I felt bad that Princess Diana died so soon, I thought even back then that way too many Americans got all hysterical over someone who had nothing to do with our culture. So the last thing I want to hear about is some royal family's personal affairs.

In the US we don't believe in the concept of "royalty" so I don't get why some Americans are so into it disbelief

Sounds like a lot of work just to justify getting drunk and waking up in your own vomit. biggrin
