Wardrobe Help!!!

I'm 4 weeks postpartum today, and I STILL can't fit into a single damned thing!!! mad

I don't wanna go out and buy a whole new wardrobe, cuz I do plan to lose weight......but I'm SICK of wearing sweats.

I forgot about this bullshit. Any suggestions on a few purchases I can make to get me through this phase????? That don't include frumpy looking clothes.

hey! whattaya talking about?? i love wearing sweats. redface big grin

maybe there might be a consignment shop that would allow you to 'exchange' or buy clothes for a really discounted rate.

otherwise i think the ORG lost and found might have 2the9s' old mumu, or maybe johnart would let you wear his snuggie

Keep in mind what I'm trying to cover up too.

A deflated baloon around my waist and hips, back fat, and lunch lady arms.

Black leggins and a babydoll top

Couple pairs of jean shorts in a little bit bigger size.

Not when summertime is coming and you're in between wardrobes.

Yes, ill-fitting clothes are just what you want when the weather makes you uncomfortable to begin with.

I can see you're anti-jean shorts so we'll have to agree to disagree.

But, when I said "a little bit bigger" I meant so that they would fit her as she has not lost her baby weight and her current wardrobe is too small.

This is true, but as her clothes do not fit her NOW, she might be opposed to exercising nude.

Then again...maybe not.

She also said, "That doesn't include frumpy looking clothes." With their heavy folder-set waistband, jorts are going to add bulk around the waist - exactly where she doesn't need it.

Something like these would be perfect. They have an elastic waist, but it's flat (not gathered), so it looks dressier and won't add bulk. And the fabric has a little stretch, so the butt and knees won't bag out. And they come in nice neutral colors (including black, which is always slimming).

I actually do think those are really cute. giggle Not suggesting you only wear that style, but I'd be doin a lot of "easy" shaped summer dresses. You can usually dress em up or down. shrug

Dresses are awesome if you're feeling a little self-conscious about yourself from midriff to mid-thigh. nod

I was going to suggest dresses, but with little ones around that's not always the way to go.

I saw some really cute dresses at one of the stores supporting Autism research and they were very well priced.

Just 4 weeks? Girl, please.talk to the hand

Give yourself some time. It probably took, what, a week just to halfway recover decent mobility? You'll lose those pounds soon enough if you maintain a healthy diet/exercise routine.
