It's curious

I'm drinking HEAVILY these days. Not everyday, but since January I've been drunk EVERY weekend. In fact, I'm slighty concerned ... confused

your typing the other day was out of control. I mean, I thought it was funny, but if that is a normal thing, maybe you should be concerned signed Debbie Downer

that used to be me, but I had a bit of a problem with it lol

Now I can drink a couple beers and enjoy myself, and that works a lot better for me than insane numbers of bowls per day.

Very good, John. And the coolest part is you can replace it with Perrier -- like me -- and look no less gay while sober! biggrin

I used to drink a bottle of Wine every night, some nights I would go as far as two bottles of Wine. Needless to say, it had its effects on me and my relationship with my Wife.. I did this for almost 2 years. I don't drink as much now and my wife says I am a better person for it (theres more to this that I shall not divulge). I wasn't a bad drunk i.e I didnt go round beating on people etc

But I am more "with it" these days. I do drink still, just not every night maybe one to three bottles a week, which still probably sounds a lot to some people.

But anyway, good for you smile You don't need booze to have fun.

Life is short, don't be a dick.

I don't think I'll have a problem having a few cocktails once in a while if at a party or out at a club for some occasion (we do neither with great frequency). It's the drinking at home that concerned me. I mean I wasn't drinking during the day...I have some standards. On the weekend it might start in the afternoon. boxed But we'll see...I'm not totally against just quitting it altogether and I'm not like panicked about it or anything. I was more worried when I stopped smoking years ago. shrug

I've decided to cut back on my drinking.

No this is not a belated April's Fools joke either. lol

Last night (after a few stiff ones lurking) we poured the rest of our vodka down the sink. omfg

I've just realized that over the past year or so it's increased and some of the "fun" has been replaced with hangovers and feeling like shit the next day (I'm an old bitch). So it's become kind of pointless and more of a habit than anything else and that concerns me a bit. I have this fear that years from now all the excessive habit-drinking will hit at once and we'll end up some cliche gay version of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? shake

Not today, honey.no no no!

I know this is gonna cut on some of the johnart joke material, so I'm posting this to give you time to come up with some new stuff. razz

I'm disappointed. Not because you quit. But because you didn't give me the shit you poured down the sink. After all we've been through...
