No. They are just people with different jobs to me.

No. There have been a few people I was excited to meet because I really respected them but when face to face I was surprisingly not nervous at all and certainly not all giddy and fammy.

People obsessed with celebrity culture - especially those who spend all their time insulting them, laughing at so called trainwrecks, etc... - are sad, creepy people to me.

It's a fun novelty to encounter someone in person whom I typically only encounter through the firewall of some electronic or print medium. I've felt the same way, though, when I've met or chatted with any given orger, for example.

Aside from that initial treat, no, running into celebs doesn't much bowl me over.

I wasn't starstruck when I saw George Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Paul Giamatti, but it was a kick in the head.

By the way, George threw his used gum on the ground! Bad george.

I think it depends on whether they're one of my favorites or not. I definitely am starstruck over Prince! After one of the W2A shows when the lights were on, he was saying goodbyes to different sides of the audience. When he came over to bow to my floor section, I had a fit of giggles and then I could not look up at him. I felt like an awkward teenager...

it's exciting to meet a celeb whose work you follow and who you respect a lot. It's an odd thing to see them in person after becoming so familiar with them through pictures, movies, music, whatever.

but they are just people, true. best to treat them that way.

Out of the folk I've met the only one I was (unexpectedly) starstruck with was Bette Midler.

Lawd I was a hammanahammanahammana fool getting my book signed.

She's like 2 inches tall and her hands (which I just had to hold ) are the size and as delicate as a baby chick.

I met Joe Perrone once, and the whole time I was staring at him because he reminded me soo much of a boy I was in love with at high school - I told our mutual friend to let him know that was why I was staring so much lol

na i don't get starstruck. i'm actually more at ease and less shy with a celebrity. when i met my idol jonathan from korn it was like chilling with my bff

Depends on the star. If it’s someone I’ve never heard of or someone I don’t care about, I wouldn’t be starstruck at all.

I’m shy in general, so anytime I meet someone new I’m usually all quiet and stuff.

I’ve met several of my favorite rock stars and some made me all tongue-tied and goofy and others had little effect.
