My fault. Didn't realize we had any Omaha area folks on here. And I ended up sitting around one day while she was in class. Unfortunately though, the class is over and she is back in California now. So I don't know when I'll ever be in Omaha again.

Well at least you got to visit this exciting land of the Cornhuskers i do love it tho! Its home! I live in Lincoln, which is the capital.. its about 40 miles from omaha

You know what tripped me out?

I called Bank of America and ended up needing a walk-in lobby...the nearest BoA? Sioux City, Iowa. I found that extremely hard to believe.

Once upon a time I almost got stationed there. And I'm not trying to besmirch the good name of Nebraska but one thing my friend pointed out that I somewhat agree with (I hadn't really considered it before I guess) was that there were some really good looking people in Omaha, more than expected. Both quantity and quality.

The guy on the phone told me Sioux City was closest. Actually, he pronounced it Sigh-Ox City which became a running joke. And I just checked the BoA locator and it only gave me two ATM locations in Lincoln, no branches.

We didn't see much that day, but yes in downtown they have a whole fabric section and shopping area that seems go to on forever. It's magical
