Dear Purplemookiebut,

I understand that there are a lot of complications going on in your life.

Due to ADHD it's extremely hard for you to confirm with timelines, prioritizing, develop regular social kills, planning, overseeing comlicated situations, having a realistic self image. You'r impulsive behaviour will get you in trouble more often than not.

Because you still have not got yourself a proper treatment for your panic attacks, these hinder you in you day to day life. You probably have developed a very avoidant life style, not doing a lot because you are afraid you might get a panick attack.

Your allergies and other physical problems hinder you in functioning physically in similar ways other people can. And because other people don't aknowledge your disabilities, you will be confronted with a lot of negativity.

Therefore you are in a situation that is far from ideal. You'r mother is providing for you, eventhough you are mature. And you don't have any money to be able to buy your own food or pay for a roof above your head. Because you depend on your mother, you have to deal with her complaints and her confronting you with your own behaviour.

What will happen if your mother dies? What will you eat? Where will you live? How will you provide for yourself? You'r in a very vurnable position, do you realize that?

Who can help you with finding a good treatment for all your psychological problems?

Is there an University in the neighbourhood where someone at the Psych. department can help you finding an effective treatment for your panic attacks, ADHD and maybe other not diagnosed problems? Or is there any other institute that can help you with finding or providing you with an effective treatment? It seems you are avoiding a lot of issues in your life right now. However, by avoiding it, they really don't go away. It will get worse.

Why don't you find a professional who can help you with finding the right help and who can guide you in making a realistic plan for becoming more independent and less vulnarable?

I will not keep on posting to you. Because then we will engage in a conversation about every little detail, and that is just a way of avoiding the real thing.

My advise is finding a competent and professional who can help you with the multitude of your problems. Not a person who will only threat you for your ADHD or any other isolated complaint. One person who can support you to stand on your own feet!

I wish you the best, and especially I hope that you will stop avoiding and look for EFFECTIVE support. Not just another medicationsuscriber.

i totally agree with that but don't they cost $? if my stepcousin jumped into incoming traffic and carrier clinic only would keep him for a week then what would they do for a non suicidal depressed broke person?

i need to find someone that's free or doesn't charge me hundres for a hour

Go into counseling. Even with a full-time job, I was able to find free counseling and counseling that charged me according to income.

She's fully content with a loser status and there is nothing that anyone here is going to say that will make someone like that suddenly see the light.

As for the original post, if I needed a job and couldn't find anything else (which is think is 100% impossible) I'd so get my ass to McDonalds and get to work.

At my jobs i'm always the one picking up everyones slack. that last place was all lazy bums barely doing their jobs. texting nonstop or whatever. so i was the jack of all trades getting pulled into every direction. so then when i complained and had panic attacks i got bitched at. i always left my jobs so physically and mentally exhausted. one of my first jobs was at a foodstore and they'd never give us our breaks. 9 hr shifts.you would only get your lunch. how many of us developed carpel tunnels, tendonitis and cysts in our wrists. 10 yrs later i gotta deal with this pain till i die now.

I was at 2 locations for my last job. i remember when boss started she said there was a couch in the breakroom and ppl were puff puff passing. so much for the big we drug test sign in the window.ok i understand if ya wanna smoke a joint on the weekend every so often with friends but on your time! not works! i remember a whole group on the boys on lunch went to bar and came back drunk. what a turnaround there.

I've done jobs like that. i wanna find something i enjoy. then the ppl going to school and working the same time?? both sides of the family are all stressed out crazy worryworts. i don't wanna end up in a fucking mental instuition shaking in a corner. WHY OH WHY DIDN"T I JOIN THE ARMY OR GO STRAIGHT TO COLLEGE! i need a time machine.

i'm in that movie suckerpunch and the icepick keeps getting closer....

To bring in a paycheck, sometimes you have to work at a job that you're overqualified for, but if I had to flip burgers or clean toilets (which I have) to put money in the bank until I found something better, so be it and I'd do it damn well.

Yep, I've had to work crap jobs before just to make ends meet. I once thought delivering pizza's was beneath me (early 20's) but I took a job doing that. I loved it and made really good money at it too! biggrin

i'll work just about any job (or two) rather than be broke and unable to pay my bills.

lol at these threads with the same subject matter popping up everywhere... discussing the same thing over and over.....Mookie you dont even have to start them anymore...but I think u said that already. But seriously though as much as it may look and feel like people are harsh with you or don't like you (They aren't btw ...it's called tough love).....You always get a ton of replies...folks care about you on here me thinks..else why would they keep telling you the same things....in multiple threads. Me I dont have that kind of energy.

yes i'm tired of coming on here seeing threads started about me complaining that other threads were deleted.

really? whofarted

if a thread doesn't get deleted its when the topic is switched to me and its 3-4 pages of ppl ganging up flaming me. rolleyes shrug sigh disbelief

PMB just called it quits...
