My first GF was in Kindergarten. There was nothing formal about the relationship, but it was understood we "belonged" to one-another. I recall being an abused partner, though : In afterschool care, we would always feign trouble sleeping at nap time. We'd be allowed, then, to go out to the backyard -- just the two of us -- and play with no interference from any of the other kids. It'd be great, but after about 15 minutes she'd always get mad at me about something. She'd never tell me what, but she'd refuse to talk to me for the rest of the day. She'd forgive me overnight and be entirely in love with me the next day.

Well the FWB thing is pretty much over now - it started last summer and it was working out as it was supposed to, just having a bit of fun during weekends but still being friends..

Early this year she started to get increasingly more attention while we were in clubs with friends and I started getting a bit jealous and my "sleepovers" almost stopped, then I realised I had feelings for her and told her so, but she felt like me and her could only be friends. The FWB thing isn't COMPLETELY over, but it's more like once a month rather than every weekend at this point.

So when it comes to my FWB-thing, SHE'S the one that's been holding out, we're still good friends though... I'm a bit shy and a dude so I hardly have any choices, girls don't walk up to me in bars or clubs, I don't know if I come accross as "desperate", but holding out in my case probably won't get me anywhere, my FWB has choices, I don't.
