Why do you work out? Because I have a shit metabolism

How long to you work out? Hour in morning and 30-45 minutes at night

Are you a memeber of a gym? Yes

How often to you workout? 5x a week in mornings, then yoga and a mini workout with exercise ball on alternate nights at home

Do you want to loose weight, tone up, or beef up? Lose weight

How many reps do you do? 12-15

How many sets do you do? 3

Do you eat right? No

What do you do on your recovery days? Nothing

I've just recently started being hardcore about working out again...now that I have a gym buddy. I always need a buddy to stay on track.

Why do you work out? Makes me feel good.

How long to you work out? 30 mins weights, 30 mins cardio on days I do both. 45 mins cardio on days with no weights.

Do you want to loose weight, tone up, or beef up? Beef up a little, definitely tone, lose a few pounds.

How many reps do you do? Depends on the weight I use.

How many sets do you do? Generally 3.

Do you eat right? I try as much as possible, overall yes. But I do allow one "cheat" day a week.

What do you do on your recovery days? Exercise wise? Nothing.

How many sets do you do? 3 - 4 Depends how much energy I have.

Do you eat right? Hope so.. I eat what I want when I want - but prefer veg, fruit & seeds over meat or fish. I primarily have a veggie diet with occasional sea food.

What do you do on your recovery days? Stretch when I can be bothered lol

Do you workout? Yes, but I just moved so I'm not closer to the gym anymore and need to find a new routine. Now I am biking ~20 miles/week plus walking a lot because I don't own a car.

Why do you work out? To heal my back and neck and general health benefit

in the last 18 months i have lost 15 kilos biggrin ... it's no longer about weight loss, i enjoy it and it has made me healthier, as i now actually watch what i eat... except sometimes i can't say no to chocolate and hot chips drool

Yep, 5 or 6 days a week, upper body one day and then leg and abs the next, with a day off or two on the weekend. I don't do enough cardio at the moment though.

But I disagree, I think it depends on what you want to achieve. So, depending on what I want to achieve, I work out between 30 to 75 minutes. Mostly just 45 minutes though, with only a few minutes cardio to warm up and maybe 20 minutes cardio after my strength workout. I rather go jogging or swimming or cycling to get a long cardio workout. Sometimes I do a sequence workout at the gym where I switch between a few minutes of cardio and weightlifting all the time, like running, then weights, then running and then weights again, all the time. But mostly it´s just a regular workout, with a cardio warm up, strength training, and a short cardio thing at the end for a cooldown.

Are you a memeber of a gym? Yes, first from 1994 until 1997 and then again from 1999 until present.

How often to you workout? Depends on what I´m striving for. But these days, I work out three or four times. I found out that three times is often enough. I used to overtrain a lot in the past. When I do a mild workout, I go to the gym four times a week. It all depends on how much recovery time and sleep I get, and diet, of course. There´s no use in going to the gym too often if it fucks up your body because you don´t give your body time or food to heal again.

Do you want to loose weight, tone up, or beef up? All of it. But life has taught me not to take these things TOO seriously, that is I know how fast I can lose weight or bulk up again if I want to, so I know what to do and don´t turn into a fanatic. Reading Sly Stallone´s book "Sly Moves" helped me a bit in that regard. Don´t know how much of it was ghostwritten by his co-author but that book really changed the way I look at fitness training.

How many reps do you do? When I eat well and get enough rest, I sometimes do really heavy stuff, and that´s when I only do 6-8 reps with heavy weight, with at least two or three days rest.

How many sets do you do? Depends on the muscles I´m working on. But minimum is three, maximum is six. But if I do several exercises, then I often only do three or four sets per exercise, or sometimes, when I´m in a hurry and I´m already warmed up, I only do two sets with really heavy weights.

Do you eat right? I make sure that I get enough protein but I don´t eat enough protein because I don´t really like animal protein that much so I substitute with shakes. I drink a whey protein shake right after my workout before I even take a shower and a slower acting protein shake before I go to bed, and sometimes one for breakfast. I should cut down on simple carbs and eat more veggies. I like dairy products like yoghurt and cheese and have no problems with lactose.

What do you do on your recovery days? I should be doing more cardio but I don´t . Sometimes sex is a good substitute for cardio because it is also a form of good cardio training. I make sure to get a bit of rest, eat well (or drink well....protein shakes, and of course a bit of fish), or I just do totally unrelated stuff.

Why do you work out? Best stress reliever beside sex and of course improves health, my family's medical history troubles me which might have something to do with it.

How long to you work out? An hour, an hour & a 1/2 at tops.

Are you a memeber of a gym? For two years now.

How often to you workout? Every night except Friday.

How many reps do you do? Tonight I did lower. I never stay with a routine, one night I do lower, sometimes upper, combination and sometimes sides/wings. 15 repetitions for all of them.

How many sets do you do? Tonight I did 20 minutes on the treadmill, three sets of plyometrics and two sets of three lower reps exercises and ended it with stretching(which is how I always end my exercise) anyway, like I said I never stay with a routine, so tomorrow will be a totally different workout, except for the reps, cardio and stretching.

Do you eat right? Not really no, I need to eat more nurturing food but my appetite gets in the way, I only eat two meals a day and nibble on some fruit or yogurt at night when I get hungry.

What do you do on your recovery days? Usual everyday things.

First of all I haven't fully worked out in like 2 monthes but I am getting back into it and when I do this is what I do -

Are you a memeber of a gym? Nope. I use my moms workout videos from the 80s smile

How often to you workout? i'm gonna try every other day

Do you want to loose weight, tone up, or beef up? Tone up on my belly area :p

How many reps do you do? don't know but the video is a series of squats,lunges,running/jumping,weight lifting (small ones for me, don't wanna get manly :S) crunches, it works your whole body. it's called the firm workout series.

How many sets do you do? dont know.

Do you eat right? not really but i try. i eat lots of fruits smile. and whole grains

What do you do on your recovery days? same ol.

I was trying to lose weight, now it's become more of a habit.

I feel weird if I don't work out.

How long to you work out?

30 minutes a day. Don't judge, between school and other stuff, it's the best I can do.

I think so. Many people think I have an eating disorder but I actually think I eat better than most of them shrug

I don't think I have recovery days but if I'm not working out, I'm doing homework or I'm at school.
