but i ate it last night and now i am soooooooooo sick.....

I don't mind white buns or a baguette but I haven't had a slice of white bread in maybe 5 years.

When I think of white bread, I think of that pasty, gooey, overly processed stuff that my Mom used to make my sandwiches...

I like bagels, and crusty breads like French & Italian.

I would say ditto, but even sourdough (my favourite) plays havoc on my guts

PB&J on wheat/rye/pumpernickel? EWWWWWW! Only way to eat PB&J is on white bread! Yeah, but I know what you mean about "balloon" bread. Wonder bread is way too soft when it's very fresh. Sunbeam is a little firmer, and usually the grocery store brands are the firmest. I'd prefer sourdough.

!!!! Yes those are it! Those hit the spot with some soup, jam or cheese.

I remember they came in that big metal can back in the day... the Sao crachers as well. The Sao crackers in the bodegas here are round... those I never liked as much for some reason.

Good bread is one of the few things I kinda miss when I am outside of Europe.

well, mostly they sort of crowd up against or perch on it (it's hot from the toaster) and nibble it. birds don't mind a snack that also warms up their toes. as to private parts i'm not sure what they get up to while i'm off at work...
