As another Orger said yesterday, we are a community of people - a public forum, but one with long-standing relationships. The demographic leans toward 30-35+ people who come here and share their lives with each other. We may have come together because of Prince's music, but for many of us that was five to ten years ago. And the Org General Discussion Forum has changed because we have changed. We're now raising families, getting laid off and having our homes foreclosed upon. We do not want to hear your SNOOKI WAAAH. This is not the place for that.

I have no authority or desire to kick you or anyone out of here. I am just telling you why some of us don't like you.

i didn't buy it yet. i have to get over to a sally's. when the white tips of my french manicure start chipping then i'll paint them. i dyed my hair recently and when i rinsed it out it stained my white tip to a offwhite cream...

i'm thinking purple crackle with teal underneath

I say buy the polish! Take that polish to a professional nail salon and get your nails tuned up! Get polished... get a nice interview outfit together and get out there!

Do what you can to build your self-confidence up and take those pretty nails -along with your resume to all the places you can!

each step you take towards independence will bring you closer to your goals... so begin that journey and keep us posted on the small steps you take towards fulfilling your dreams.

The thing I forgot to include in my rant above is we get offended when you open a conversation with us and ask for advice, twice, and then have it deleted. Twice. You have to have the balls to hang, honey.

i only had last the one deleted by my request the other ones got deleted causes of complaints.

dammit. i went to the mall cause my headphones that are under warranty broke. i got replacement but lost a nail along the way. my nails are a bit stained from rinsing out the hair dye. i gotta look for a started box mom uses for streaks and put it to match cause otherwise i'll have one really white and the rest offwhite. blah. ....the things i worry about. i know i know. i may be painting them today or tomorrow if it doesn't match.

don't ya think nailpolish remover on fake nails will get rid of the shine or white tips?

Go to a damn professional salon, bring the polish with you.

You will feel better about yourself.

Take that feeling and run with it, even if its just to sit down and start on your resume.

For a more professional, hire-able appearance you SHOULD do both... that's money well spent (but ONLY as long as you actually make an effort in finding employment)!!

thats a waste of $ when u can go to sally's and buy the same stuff they use at salons and do it yourself. there is a group i belong to called the self confessed hair dye addicts. there are some professionals on there that will answer any beauty question about hair or cosemtics you can think of...

it's on bme:iam think facebook for the freaky all tattooed/pierced and extreme body mod culture

oh yeah and all the workers in sally's are required to have gone to beauty school. they are all hair stylists and makeup artists! they can help you. althought my perm didn't come out that time. i hear certain rxs can coat your hair and it wont come out right. maybe my carpel tunnel pills or the heart meds were a factor in that???
