'Broke' Tiki Barber Can't Afford Divorce Settlement After Alleged Affair With NBC Intern

Troubled former New York Giants superstar Tiki Barber claims he is broke and unable to pay the divorce settlement demanded by the mother of his four children after he was axed from NBC's "Today" show, the New York Post reported Wednesday.

Barber -- who ditched his wife of 11 years, Ginny, for 23-year-old blond former NBC intern Traci Lynn Johnson -- claims his career is in tatters and that he has taken a huge financial hit since his estimated $300,000 NBC contract ended.

Barber has not been on the air in many months -- but sources said his contract was only formally terminated in May.

Network insiders said "Today" show bosses secretly ended their deal with Barber due to a hidden "morality clause" which specified that stars must not be involved in public scandals.

The Post revealed in April how Barber dumped then-eight-months-pregnant wife Ginny for the former intern. Ginny, who also has sons A.J., 7, and Chason, 6, with Barber, gave birth to twin girls last month.

When her manager at NBC found out she was having lunch with him regularly he told her to stop that shit immediately. But they didn't give a fuck and were seen all over NY together.

As I've mentioned if the story is true, I would hunch her employment at NBC played a big part in Barber not being resigned.
