I've never seen Barbapapa anywhere in the states yet. Only when I'm in Europe.

I watched that show on TV when I was little . Then it was nowhere to be seen for many years here and just recently became popular again as retro. I remember I posted the song for the TV show for Charlotte on a thread some months ago . I still knew the words before I even looked it up on youtube .

I remember seeing Moppy chewing on one of the gum magnets and me thinking it was a rock or something then you took it out of his mouth and put it on the fridge That was when I first realized it was really a magnet.

I love this idea...I am a huge fan of fridge magnets...will post soon!

I don't use many on the fridge. We have metal strips where we display all our kids recent artwork... every now and then we run out of space and put a couple on the fridge. Here's what's on the fridge at the moment...

The round ones are from Ikea, we have one with my name on that my lovely old Nana brought me and we also have one that we brought on a visit to Paris, just because we needed to get some change for something. Ooh and the weird-looking ones are what my little girl made a couple of years ago. They got trashed by a friends toddler and I haven't thrown them out.

yesterday its little carcass made a brief appearance on the back porch and from the smell of our dog, I believe he is getting great enjoyment from ROLLING IN IT.
