I wonder if I took any pics of your fridge when I was there.

I don't think you did hmmm. My fridge is not exactly outstanding, even though I like the way it looks and I intend to keep it even when it might stop working sometime soon.

I found a photo of your kitchen, but your fridge is very small in it. Even when I zoom in, your Prince magnets aren't that visible. sad

Yes, if I remember correctly, the grey magnet is a Lovesexy photo. Good eye! Maybe that's why Martina is so thin. hmmm

As promised:

So the tacky tourist magnet collection is not that big. My favorite Marilyn magnet is the one on the upper right -- it's a bunch of small Marilyn portraits in the style of various artists (e.g. Warhol, Botero, Matiss, Stella, Dali, etc.) - the perfect combination of my love of art and Marilyn!

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

My friends gave those to me because I've been known to rock a pair of black platform boots in back in my clubbing days. lol Do you recognize them? They are "famous platforms":

-the one with the "E" is Elton John's

-the blue and white one, I think is Gene Simmons'

-the red one is Madonna's

There is a fourth one, but it's on the side.

(The guy playing the keys is Bernie Worrell from the P-Funk.)

Gene Simmons, really? That seems a little conservative for him.

I thought it was Gene, but I could be wrong. The "owners" were printed on the cardboard insert and I'm not sure where it is to check. Who would you guess? I know when I got them I though for sure one would belong to a P-Funk member, but being disappointed that they didn't. Madonna over Bootsy or George? C'mon!

I always thought Gene's boots looked like these:

But then in a google search I see he also wore toned down pairs too:

So maybe they really are his. shrug

Need to take some pictures of mine. I have some really cute magnets that are of cats wearing hats. Got them at an estate sale a year or two back.
