I think the last one (bottom right) is supposed to represent Heaven & Hell. I'll try to focus a bit more to see if I can figure out any more of them.

Really? That's interesting. Could be, I guess. 666 obviously represents, hell, satan, evil, etc. I guess Satan could be used to represent The Beast. The formula on the top is using infiniti, which is why I thought of heaven. Hence, Heaven and Hell. Not sure how I can find "Beauty" represented in that formula. shrug

The formula is Euler's Identity (a ratio of mathematical beauty). 666 is the number of the Beast vis-a-vis Revelation 13:18.

Well geez. If I knew the name of more movies (and I know A LOT) I might have more luck with these. lol This is as far as I got on this one http://www.math-magic.com...ginary.htm

But I think your guess sounds pretty solid.

And I found this for the fist one. http://www.algebra.com/al...60416.html

I don't remember nearly as much of what all this stuff means as I would like. Kind of depressing since I aced every math class I ever took. I guess that whole "you'll never use most of this stuff" was at least partly true.

For you to even be asked to do math is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. hmph!

You think? Given Cerebus' last post, I'm thinking the first puzzle is The Matrix.
