My bf’s post-spinal tap headache is gone.

And - he and I are heading to the Keys in 2 weeks to celebrate being together for a whole year. I don’t know how that happened.

We’re flying into Miami, renting a car and heading on down. We’re staying in a ramshackle little place right on the beach in Key Largo for the first 2 nights (mom and pop place built in the 40’s) where it’s sparse and old but clean and cheap with kayaks and canoes for us to use and apparently you can swim for about 2 miles out and manatees are known to occasionally swim right up to you for a belly rub. Then it’s off to Key West for 3 nights in a cute Victorian B&B for a fancier stay where we’ll have our own balcony off our room and yummy breakfast and everything charming and fun within walking distance.

While spring peeked it’s head into Minneapolis last week it decided to head back on out for a while. It snowed a bunch a few days ago and it’s not getting above freezing again till next week. Harrumph. Some time in the sunshine is most definitely needed.

The fantastic sex I had last night.

Going on a cruise in 2 weeks with my mother, brother, husband and all 4 kids. Eating like a fucking pig!

I've been reasearching a particular subject where the "key" has been eluding me 4 over 20 years.

I found it yesterday by accident.

Interesting how that happens.

Getting paid.

- me feeling better than I have in a long time

- nature in bloom, sunshine

- I was supposed to see some family friends (that are very dear to me) and then go out with the girls, but it didn't turn out that way so I'm home alone enjoying myself; cooking, listening to music, dancing around, and just feeling good

Working hard to stay focused on how blessed I am.

-The fact that I love who I am as a person as well as my faults.

-That I'm comfortable in my own skin and confident in what I do at work (and in the bedroom ).

-That 3 years ago I was able to buy my own townhouse and blessed everyday that I can pay the mortgage on time along with my bills and then some.

My 10 year old son had his second track meet today and finished 1st in the shot put, 3rd in the 200 meter run. He's only been at it for about a month. My wife and I are pumped because the little guy shows no interest in anything but video games. We tried football, soccer, basketball, and baseball. Who would have guessed that the kid just wants to run?

Also scored 6th row seats for Glee in concert next month. Laugh if you want, but my 8 year old daughter begged me to get the tickets and I told her we couldn't afford them. She was really sad when she found out they were sold out and she has no clue that I got them yesterday. Yes Im paying an arm and a leg but I cant wait to see the look on her face when we pull into the Sports Arena parking lot. (Not to mention the fact that I get to see Lea Michele live! )

I'm excited about going shopping for shower curtains today. I'm pathetic.

I get to see a group of friends today!

My mother took me shopping yesterday a got me a few necessities. I've learned it's time to start buying basics so i don't go through my frequent "i have nothing to wear!" spells anymore.

It snowed a little today. I love snow. Hot weather just stresses me out. I'm glad I'll get to put on my peacoat again for a few days before I pack it away till next winter.

Ooh and I might be getting an iPhone!

Today: Nothing in particular.

On the horizon: Closing on my house (which got delayed unforntunately). My daughter coming to stay with me for the summer. The two of us deciding how to furnish/decorate her room. All the stuff I wanna do for her birthday.
