I'll confess that in general I do not prefer to watch any sappy movies.

I've been accused by friends as being heartless when everyone

is crying durnig a movie and I'm rolling my eyes.

There have been a couple of movies that have made me a little tear-y.

Last night I was trying to remember which movies those were and I

drew a blank! I guess I'm trying to block them from my memory.

So can I get some help from my orgers? Help me remember what

movies touched me by telling me the ones that brought tears to your eyes!

Were there any movies that made you just all out sob?

I'm watching Steel Magnolias right now.

Imitation of Life is another good one.

I am very sensitive. Movies make me cry that don't make others cry. Just the grand artistry of some movies make me cry.

I'd suggest seeing the film One Hour Photo. That last ten minutes made me bawl, because the guy in the scene wasted his life so much.

Color Purple makes SS guards weep. Celllieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

That movie had the complete opposite reaction for me . . . Annette (Sandra Gould) make my hand itch. The premise of the movie really. . . .

I looooooooove a weepy. Some of my favorites are Brief Encounter, Now, Voyager, and Summertime.

But the one movie that always, always makes me cry at the end is Field of Dreams.

For me, crying is largely tied to PMS. Depending on the time of the month I can cry at commercials.

That ASPCA commerical with Sarah MacLachlan fucks me up e'ry damn time.

Have you not seen Schindler's List? There are so many scenes there that are worthy of a cry it's almost not worth trying to single one out. But for me personally, even something as simple as the families he saved placng stones at his grave at the end turn me to luggage. There's one in particular where an elderly person places a stone down and then rubs the gravestone. Kills me.

My Life with Nicole Kidman and Michael Keaton. Haven't seen this one in over a decade so I don't know if it has aged well, but I definitely remember crying on that one too.

How about Rambo? That speech at the end about the Vietnam Vets.... (OK just kidding).....

There's definitely more - I'll post when i think about them.

Well that clip didn't make me sad at all!

Yeah - he tries to throw the dog into the train.

Then the dog gives him the cold shoulder for a second.

But the pine cone brought them back together again,

I don't think I've ever cried as hard at anything as I did through that film. It was all I could do not to sob out loud in the theatre and one of my friends actually WAS crying out loud.

I watched it once more on dvd and just cried and cried and cried since I was alone.

Admittedly, though, I'm an easy cry. Just about anything can make me tear up, whether out of joy or sadness. I'll even cry over a song or painting I think is beautiful and I routinely cry over news casts.

The first movie that ever made me cry was Charlotte's Web when I was a kid.

I remember going to the movies and watching Philadelphia...the whole f*cking theater was BAWLING @ that scene with the music after he dies.

The last movie that made me cry was that stupid dog movie Marley & Me.

Color Purple...already mentioned. That's the one that gets me everytime and it's a good movie, so I really remember it.

So many other movies I just don't remember even if they made me cry, because I cry so easily at them.

I'm not a crier otherwise and these days prefer not to watch tear-jerkers.
