SAN FRANCISCO -- A federal prosecutor says it is "ridiculous and unbelievable" that Barry Bonds thought he was taking flax seed oil and arthritis cream when his personal trainer gave him steroids. Assistant U.S. attorney Matt Parrella delivered the opening statement Tuesday for federal prosecutors in Bonds' long-awaited perjury trial. Seven years ago, Bonds told a grand jury investigating sports doping that he never knowingly took performance-enhancing drugs.

If they want to roid up then let them. This mess has been going on way too long so let's get over it and stop acting all . It's their body to fuck up and they're not teenagers nor college aged people so it's not like they were duped and didn't know the damages of steroids. This whole thing is just stupid.

That is my position as well.

I don't think players should use steroids, but I don't think Bonds belongs in front of a grand jury either!!

If I used drugs at work I'd just get fired. The fucking government would not get involved!

I don't understand the government involvement in baseball

the feds...really. if the trainer said he didnt know, the one who administered the pills....how would bonds know...he may have found out after and kept taking them....but hell???
