Hourly rate depends on the artist. If he's very good and internationally known then expect to pay a lot more. Not that PurpleJedi needs Michaelangelo to recreate this particular tattoo.

yeah...but average really good regular guy tattoo artist...100 to 150 an hour.....right?

I think that was what I paid way back when I got my small ones done. They have since been covered up by more extensive pieces by a better artist who charges more.
