"Good Times" The First Season on DVD

Did any of you buy the "Good Times" DVD which contains the entire first season (1974/75)? I'm gonna go pick it up this weekend,as well as the 1974 movie "Claudine",which has also just been released on DVD.

Looks like I will have alot of stuff to watch this weekend smile

Yeah,Best Buy is where I'm gonna buy mine too wink

The first season is the best because it features "James" in the cast.I think he left the show near the beginning of the second season (fall of 1976).

I got totally ripped off buying the VHS ones they came out with a few years ago - only 4 episodes on each, $25 a piece omfg I never watch them, but I might if they were easy to access. I'm spoiled, don't even wanna take the time to rewind anymore... disbelief

They vary - mostly episodes with James woot! some without sad some with Keith ill

I never did get the whole set, they didn't sell them in order, it was more thematic. One tape dedicated to JJ, etc. I have about 7 or 8 of them, $ down the drain... disbelief

Actually,I would LOVE to get my hands on more episodes than just the first season.I'm hoping that, eventually, they will release more seasons on DVD.I want EVERY episode of that show, from the beginning (1974) to the very last episode (1979).

I have the "Jeffersons" first season on DVD too,and I hope they eventually add more seasons in the future.
