I Got Hit By A Car Today: With Pictures I was walking out of work today and walked around the side of the building to head to my car. A car was coming around the corner and slipped on some ice and clipped me on the left side... leaving a rather large bruise on my leg, just above my knee. It hurts like a motherfucker and it appears it is going to be ugly as well. I don't think anything is broken... but I look really cute walking now. I've got quite the limp. Work ought to rock tomorrow!
After the day I've had... I wish he would have been going faster and put me out of my misery!

Nah... it wasn't his fault. It was really the fault of the place I work because they didn't clean up the ice on the drive back by the kitchen. Completely an accident. | |

ps: i know it's not 'his' fault, but if you had an injury claim, you would file it against his carrier, and he would in turn file his claim against your employer/person who didn't clear ice | |

I didn't get any information. He hit me, he got out and asked if I was okay... I said, "yes", and continued on my way to my car. At the time it was just red and it wasn't like he hit me hard enough to knock me over, so I figured no harm done. I wasn't broken and could walk.

Thanks everyone for being glad that I am okay... and, I am okay, just very sore and hoping it doesn't look too bad in the morning.
I posted this because it was funny to me... almost a perfect ending to my day. That and this same thing nearly happened right before my 30th birthday... but I think that one would have done me in! | |
