Tower Records ( I literally used to spend HOURS there)

pagers (could easily say "Hey...I couldnt get to a phone" Cant get away with that with a cell phone)

LSD (cant do that shit anymore...but boy do I miss it)

Saturday morning cartoons

Oh yes! They had a Tower Records here in San Diego (2 actually)...that I would go to and spend HOURS looking for that perfect purchase! Sadly now, one of them is a Gentlemans clothing store, and the other, I think became an Albertson's supermarket...boo hoo!

If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in!

those table jukeboxes at the cafe.

Yeah, my grandmother used to take us to one all the time. It's where I first found my love for shrimp. I mean, it probably wasn't the greatest shrimp ever to an avid seafood fan, but to a young FauxReal it was the shit.

Cassettes! lol

I would say a record player, but my other half has one. Albeit an updated professional one that has computer capability... with a usb stick thingy that allows you to import album recordings into your computer. Every once in a while when we get nostaligic we can throw on an Earth Wind and Fire or Gino Vannelli ab-lum just like it was 30 years ago lol !

I also miss good scripted night time soap operas like Dynasty and Falcon Crest. They've been replaced by reality shows and tv dating contests lol

I miss tv commercials with characters that were quirky and charming like State Farm's Good Neighbor, the Culligan Man, Playtex 18-Hour Bras, Madge & her Palmolive Dishwashing Liquid, & Mr. Whipple's Charmin. Nowadays it seems like tv is just one big 24 hour advertisement for pharmaceuticals to help you grow hair, lose weight, fight depression, or keep an erection...all with side effects that far outweigh their benefits confused

I miss daytime variety shows like Merv Griffin, Mike Douglass, and Dinah Shore. cool

I was going to say scripted tv because I've never liked "reality" tv.

I miss Johnny Carson's Tonight Show.
